				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On November 27th, the second Xiushan Tsuneishi-Cup Color Mud Run (2016), sponsored by TSUNEISHI GROUP (ZHOUSHAN) SHIPBUILDING Inc. and organised by the Xiushan Island government of Daishan County, was held on Xiushan Island in Zhejiang Province.<br />
More than 200 runners from Zhejiang Province, Anhui Province, Guiyang City, Taiwan and other communities and nearly 150 runners from the Xiushan factory of TSUNEISHI GROUP participated in the 5K, 10K, and 18K, events of the Xiushan Tsuneishi-Cup Color Mud Run (2016). The runners were divided into two groups, the General Public group and the TSUNEISHI GROUP, and then ranked. Prizes were awarded to the top three runners of each group. This memorable, fun event was great for the community and also great for communication and interaction among TSUNEISHI staff members.<br />
TSUNEISHI GROUP, which always participates in local activities, spares no effort in providing manpower and material support in line with its philosophy to “energise the local community and develop the local economy” and in fulfilling its social. The Xiushan Tsuneishi-Cup Color Mud Run is just one example. After the first Xiushan Tsuneishi-Cup Color Mud Run was successfully held in 2015, TSUNEISHI GROUP again provided funds for this year&#8217;s Xiushan Color Mud Run and sent 70 volunteers to support the event.<br />
Sachio Okumura, president of TSUNEISHI GROUP (ZHOUSHAN) SHIPBUILDING Inc., led 14 participants from the Japanese head office of TSUNEISHI. In his speech on behalf of the company at the opening ceremony, he said, “Thank you very much for the support of each participant and staff member. The Xiushan Tsuneishi-Cup Color Mud Run will be held again for the next two years and I hope everyone will continue to actively participate in the event! Today, I am participating as well. Let us run happily together!”</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Guided by the corporate heritage and philosophy of TSUNEISHI GROUP to “energize the local community” and to emphasize education, the 2015 “TSUNEISHI Class” Opening and the 2015-2016 TSUNEISHI Scholarship Ceremony were held on November 9 at Zhejiang International Maritime College with the support of TSUNEISHI GROUP (ZHOUSHAN) SHIPBUILDING, Inc.<br />
Guests of honor including President Sachio Okumura of TSUNEISHI GROUP (ZHOUSHAN) SHIPBUILDING, Inc., and Director of General Affairs Fu Genqing, attended, along with officials of Zhejiang International Maritime College.</p>
<p>During the ceremony, President Sachio Okumura awarded scholarships to the honor students and took photographs with them. He commented, “The TSUNEISHI GROUP was founded 113 years ago, the shipbuilding business of which shall celebrate its 100th anniversary next year. The cultivation of talent is the cornerstone of a thriving business, and our 100-year corporate development as well as technical heritage cannot be achieved without the devotion of every employee. TSUNEISHI ZHOUSHAN shall continue its efforts to cultivate talent for the shipbuilding industry and to support education in the local community.”</p>
<p>The official representative of Zhejiang International Maritime College expressed the sincere gratitude of the College towards TSUNEISHI ZHOUSHAN for its ongoing attention and support for the College and the cultivation of students. He explained how the College persists in its teaching goals to “enlighten every student and help them to attain excellence.” Students are expected to devote themselves earnestly and wholeheartedly to practical learning and career planning, and to consciously boost their learning. The ideal is for the College to develop and provide the highly trained technicians that TSUNEISHI ZHOUSHAN needs, and for their mutual cooperation to promote innovative maritime business.</p>
<p>The “TSUNEISHI Class” Opening and the TSUNEISHI Scholarship Ceremony have once again reflected the corporate philosophy of TSUNEISHI GROUP to “energize the local community and develop the local economy,” as well as to put emphasis on education and social responsibilities. To nurture Zhousan&#8217;s progress and strengthen cooperation with the community, the TSUNEISHI GROUP launches and actively participates in various social services. (Head Office: Zhoushan, Zhejiang, China, President: Toshio Sato), a company of TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING Group in China, donated a model of a 58,000-ton bulker to the Lanxiu Museum on May 21, 2015. A presentation ceremony was held at the front gate of the museum.</p>
<p>The model ship was donated by requesting from the museum to display a 58,000-ton bulk carrier, the main ship being built at TSUNEISHI GROUP (ZHOUSHAN) SHIPBUILDING which is known as one of the most notable shipbuilding factories in Zhejiang Province, so that the local residents would have an opportunity to learn about the development of shipbuilding and shipping in this province. This contribution to the museum was made as part of the company&#8217;s ongoing CSR activities. TSUNEISHI GROUP (ZHOUSHAN) SHIPBUILDING will continue to build friendly relationships with the local residents and help contribute towards the further development of the local communities.</p>
<p>The Lanxiu Museum is located at Beipu of Xiushan Island in Daishan County. It displays more than 200 items that include furniture from the Ming and Qing dynasties, Chinese root carvings, and bonsai, as well as calligraphies and paintings by Zhikang Xu, Jianwei Yang, Zhuqing Ni, and other famous people of Zhoushan City in the modern era.</p>
